Lo de Marcos, San Pancho y Sayulita are 3 small villages very close to Guayabitos. Each town has its special feature.
Lo de Marcos. Less than 2,000 inhabitants, it still has old buildings and humble houses built in the 80s or earlier. Great landscape of its beach, it is one of the less towns affected by the tourism industry. Distance from Guayabitos: 10 minutes driving.
San Pancho. A friendly village with lots of food, arts and crafts. It has been settled by young foreigners that shared with us their culture and traditions and made San Pancho a multicultural small town. Beach is also great to lay, however, not recommended for amateur swimmers. Some surf practitioners start there. Distance from Guayabitos: 20 minutes.
Sayulita. Declared as "Pueblo Mágico" in year 2016, this town share with us its colorful streets and sidewalks. Great arts and crafts can be also found there. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Local population and tourists that practice professional surf use to live here. Distance from Guayabitos: 25 minutes driving.
