Isla del Coral
Address: Isla del Coral, Nayarit, Mexico .Isla del Cangrejo (crabs) and Isla del Coral (coral), both islands that make a unique landscape for Guayabitos beach. Both are protected since year 2014: they help the sea life and coral reefs to recover.
Boat unions can ride you around the bay and drop you off (if tide allows) on the island beach for a few hours. The ride takes around 20 minutes. You can hire a boat right outside our hotel. It is highly reccommended to take your box lunch and avoid bringing garbage in order to help to the island protection.

San Blas / La Tovara
Address: La Tovara Nature Reserve, San Blas-Tepic 46, Matanchén, Nayarit, Mexico .San Blas is a small fishing village, just one hour from Rincon de Guayabitos. Its beauty and landscapes make a great experience with nature. Just five minutes driving, we can find La Tovara: a natural reserve of mangroves, home of wild species such as crocodiles, turtles and birds.
It is asked to bring your tupperware kit in order to avoid garbage. You can bring your food or buy it in town.
You can get to San Blas / La Tovara driving and then hire a boat with the union. Otherwise, the hotel can arrange for you a shuttle to the town. Please ask for prices.
Sayulita / San Pancho
Address: Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico .Lo de Marcos, San Pancho y Sayulita are 3 small villages very close to Guayabitos. Each town has its special feature.
Lo de Marcos. Less than 2,000 inhabitants, it still has old buildings and humble houses built in the 80s or earlier. Great landscape of its beach, it is one of the less towns affected by the tourism industry. Distance from Guayabitos: 10 minutes driving.
San Pancho. A friendly village with lots of food, arts and crafts. It has been settled by young foreigners that shared with us their culture and traditions and made San Pancho a multicultural small town. Beach is also great to lay, however, not recommended for amateur swimmers. Some surf practitioners start there. Distance from Guayabitos: 20 minutes.
Sayulita. Declared as "Pueblo Mágico" in year 2016, this town share with us its colorful streets and sidewalks. Great arts and crafts can be also found there. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Local population and tourists that practice professional surf use to live here. Distance from Guayabitos: 25 minutes driving.
